LASM welcomes school groups as they return to the museum for educational field experiences! Students and teachers are enjoying planetarium shows as well as tours of the galleries focusing on the art and science of Iridescence, Ancient Egypt, Our Solar System, and Geology.

Front Yard Bikes
The EARN A BIKE PROGRAM allows youth from the community to have the opportunity to work in our bike shop to earn their own bike. Youth work hand-in-hand with our shop mechanics to learn bicycle mechanics and bike maintenance as they move towards the goal of receiving their own bike.

Baton Roots
Hustle & Grow Students are now harvesting the fall crops that they began as seeds at the beginning of this semester. Student Farmers are taking ownership of their school gardens as they participate in the entire process from seed to dirt to harvest to cooking!

Knock Knock Children's Museum
Knock Knock hosted McKinley Middle Magnet’s fine arts survey students this week. They explored architecture, exhibit design, and museum-related careers … and they were so kind to our tiny visitors.
